I had my New Patient visit with Dr. Rubin and it was the best and most thorough doctor visit I have ever had. I've lived in many places around the world and have met many doctors. Relocating and finding new health care providers is never easy, but I've struck gold! One can determine so much simply by how the staff behaves. The first thing I noticed that was different to all of the other Greenwich offices I called was that the ladies answering the phone seemed happy, as opposed to "Dr's office please hold!" (image...grouchy, overworked, unhappy people, cattle-call no thank you). THEN, they actually asked for my name instead of "Who's your insurance" (yep! I am the patient not my insurance) and they were very sweet and kind when they scheduled my first visit with Dr. Rubin. The team speaks volumes about the doctors who hire them and their phone skills shed a lot of light on how the office runs. The sweet woman at the front was very personable and kind. Although she was wearing a mask, you could still feel her smile behind it. Dr. Rubin and his team are the best of the best. What I appreciate, most of all, is Dr. Rubin's compassionate confidence. When your doctor says, "Don't worry, we will get to the bottom of this" and "There's a solution", it's music to the ears of a patient. He referred me to a specialist who scheduled a telemedicine call the very next day. He took my number on a note pad and said, "You'll hear from me as soon as your blood test results come back". (five-star care for sure!) I am so grateful to have found Dr. Rubin. He is BY FAR the most comprehensive physician I have experienced as a patient.
